Two finishes. One card. One impression that stays. GRAFIQ's 500 GSM metallic drip off visiting card is rated 4.2 stars by 292 verified customers and stands apart as the most visually dynamic card in the range. The drip off technique applies a selective matte coating over a metallic-printed surface — leaving designated areas in their original metallic shimmer while the surrounding surface takes a deep matte finish. The contrast between brilliant metallic zones and flat matte zones on a single card is a visual effect that no standard foil or lamination can replicate.
On imported 500 GSM art paper, it carries the weight of luxury packaging in business card form. Optional White Base printing ensures metallic inks print at full vibrancy and depth. The Gloss Area option puts the decision in your hands — choose which elements stay shiny and which go matte. Produced on Komori offset presses with LED printing technology (2023–2025 model) for consistent metallic colour across every card in the batch.
Choose from two bundles — Metallic + Drip Off, or Metallic + Drip Off + Die Cut — and personalise the shape with one of 36 die cut options.
Preferred by jewellery brands, fashion designers, beauty labels, DJs, and luxury creative professionals. Order now — the card that plays with light.
Two finishes. One card. One impression that does not leave the room. GRAFIQ's 500 GSM metallic drip off visiting card is the most visually dynamic product in the entire range — rated 4.2 stars by 292 verified customers. The drip off technique applies a selective matte coating over a metallic-printed base, leaving designated areas of the card in their original metallic shimmer. The result is a single card surface that holds both a deep matte zone and a shining metallic zone simultaneously — a contrast that no standard lamination or foil stamping can replicate.
The base is imported 500 GSM art paper — premium thickness that gives the card immediate physical presence. An optional White Base layer is printed first on the card surface, creating an opaque white foundation that allows metallic inks to print at full vibrancy and depth rather than being absorbed into the paper. The metallic printing layer is then applied, followed by the selective drip off coating that defines which areas remain metallic and which become matte. The Gloss Area option lets you control exactly which parts of your design stay shiny — your logo, your name, a graphic element — while the surrounding surface takes the matte finish. Every card is produced on Komori offset presses with LED printing technology (2023–2025 model) for flawless colour consistency across the metallic and matte zones.
Choose from two bundles: Metallic + Drip Off, or Metallic + Drip Off + Die Cut. Select White Base placement (front, back, both, or not required) and Gloss Area placement for your chosen surface. Personalise the silhouette with one of 36 die cut shapes. Print single side or both sides.
Production is completed in 3 working days. Bulk pricing available for 100, 250, 500, and 1000+ cards with pan-India delivery.
Drip off technique — two surfaces, one card, zero compromise: The drip off process is one of the most sophisticated finishing techniques in commercial card printing. A matte overcoat is applied to the printed card surface, then selectively withheld or removed from pre-defined zones — your logo, your monogram, a brand graphic — leaving those elements in their original metallic finish. The surrounding area becomes matte. The contrast between deep matte and brilliant metallic on a single surface creates a visual depth that photographs at a different level and registers in person as unmistakably premium.
White Base printing — metallic inks at full depth and vibrancy: Standard paper absorbs ink, reducing the vibrancy of metallic colours. GRAFIQ's optional White Base layer prints an opaque white foundation first, giving metallic inks a reflective surface to sit on. The result is metallic printing that is deeper, more vivid, and more consistent across the card surface — particularly important for gold, silver, and chromatic metallic tones that depend on the reflectivity of the base to achieve their full effect.
500 GSM base — luxury packaging weight in business card format: At 500 GSM, this card approaches the weight of luxury packaging board and branded gift tags — products where material weight is a deliberate brand signal. The thickness communicates that the brand behind the card invests in quality at every touch point. Combined with the metallic drip off finish, the physical experience of receiving this card is closer to handling a branded object than exchanging a paper card.
Komori offset + LED printing — metallic precision at scale: Metallic printing requires greater ink accuracy than standard CMYK because metallic tones shift under different light conditions. GRAFIQ's Komori offset presses with LED printing technology (2023–2025 model) maintain colour density and metallic consistency across every card in a batch — whether you order 100 or 1000. The drip off coating application and die cutting are handled by the same in-house post-printing unit, ensuring that the boundaries between matte and metallic zones are crisp and consistent on every card.
36 die cut shapes — metallic drama in a custom silhouette: A metallic drip off card in a standard rectangle is already distinctive. Pair that finish with a custom die cut shape — an arch top, a rounded corner card, a leaf silhouette, a geometric cutout — and the card becomes an object that people hold, turn over, and show to others. The combination of an unexpected shape and a surface that changes character under different lighting is the most memorable card combination available in this price range.
Luxury jewellery designers and fine jewellery brands: In the jewellery industry, the card handed at a boutique counter or trunk show is a physical extension of the product. A metallic drip off card — with gold or silver metallic sheen on the brand name against a matte surface — mirrors the same contrast of polished metal and refined finish that defines the jewellery itself. It is collateral that clients keep rather than discard.
Fashion designers, couture labels and luxury clothing brands: Fashion brands build their identity through texture, contrast, and material quality. A metallic drip off visiting card communicates exactly those values in card form — a matte surface with selective metallic zones that shift under light, a weight that feels intentional, a finish that signals the same editorial sensibility as the brand's packaging and lookbook. It is the card for brands where the aesthetic IS the product.
Beauty, cosmetics, fragrance and skincare brands: Premium beauty brands hand cards to retailers, beauty editors, influencers, and brand ambassadors who judge quality by touch and appearance immediately. A metallic drip off card communicates the same brand values as a foil-stamped perfume box or a glossy cosmetics compact — it signals that the brand's attention to detail extends to every physical object that carries the name.
DJs, musicians, entertainment professionals and event hosts: In the entertainment and nightlife industry, the visiting card is handed across a DJ booth, at an after-party, or in a green room — contexts where visual impact matters and first impressions happen fast. A metallic drip off card catches the light under stage lighting, looks striking in photography, and communicates creative confidence to bookers, managers, venue owners, and collaborators who see hundreds of cards a year.
Interior designers, art gallery owners and luxury architects: Professionals who sell visual and spatial experience are judged on every physical object in their environment — including the card they hand over at a client consultation or gallery opening. A metallic drip off visiting card communicates material awareness, production sophistication, and creative investment — the precise qualities that high-value clients are already looking for in a design professional.

White Base layer: If selecting White Base, design your white base as a separate spot colour layer named "White" in your file. Elements outside the white base layer will print with reduced metallic vibrancy on the paper surface — use this deliberately for design variation if desired.
Gloss Area design tip: The Gloss Area defines which zones of your card retain the metallic sheen after drip off coating. Design your gloss zone on a separate layer in 100% black named "Gloss Area". Bold design elements — logos, monograms, geometric shapes, full-bleed metallic backgrounds — work best. Avoid applying gloss areas to very fine text below 8pt.
